Nigerian author Chinua Achebe

has won the Man Booker International Prize in honour of his literary career.
His first work, Things Fall Apart, is regarded as a classic of world literature and has been translated into 40 languages.(which I read recently)
Achebe, was once described by Nelson Mandela as "the writer in whose presence prison walls fell down,"
